BVA Health Schemes

Before we take the radiographs for you, you need to complete the following details.

The British Veterinary Association run various health schemes to try and reduce the incidence of genetically acquired diseases in certain breeds of dogs.  One of the biggest schemes is the Hip and Elbow Dysplasia scheme.  Further information can be found about these programs at https://www.bva.co.uk/Canine-Health-Schemes/

We used to have to send physical "film" radiographs away to the BVA to be tested. However, technology is such that everything can be done digitally now.  Before we send the images away, we need information about you and your pet along with permission for the images to be stored and analysed.  Please fill in the form below if you are planning on bringing your pet in for Scheme radiographs.

The new system should notify us when your results are back and we can then forward the results and the associated certificate to you.  Also, we can arrange to have updates emailed to you so you know at what point you are in the system.
