17h July 2019

As many of you may have noticed, we have been super busy recently and so we are pleased to announce that we are expanding our veterinary team.

We are really lucky to have THREE additional Veterinary Surgeons start this summer and we would like to welcome JessVerity and Emma to our team. This will take us up to SEVEN full time vets.

You may have noticed that Galina isn't around at the moment - she is away on maternity leave and we have the lovely Jenny working with us as locum maternity cover until Galina returns.

We are also very lucky to see the return of Senior Nurse Bridget Facer , who brings our nursing team up to eleven.

By having extra members of staff, we hope to be able to continue to offer you convenient appointment times and be able to further the service that we are able to offer to you and your pets in our practice.

Be sure to check out our entire team on our staff pages here.

By Meg Gardner RVN 01 Nov, 2022
In the second of her series looking at the role of animals in war, vet nurse Meg Gardner looks at life in the trenches for the men and dogs of Twenty-two Company King’s Fusiliers. An uncompromising tale of life on the front line in 1916, as told from the perspective of the dogs who lived and worked alongside the soldiers of the British Forces. A tale of loyalty and friendship, hardship and loss. As both men and dogs face the horrors of warfare, an unexpected arrival in the trenches shows both dogs and men the value of compassion.
